More about Mye

Pinmada (Mye) Makornwattana is currently a student at the International School of Bangkok, part of the class of 2022. She has a passion to pursue both science focused on the medical field and business. Although her dream to become a surgeon paired with her love for business is unorthodox, Mye's focus on medicine mainly focuses on logical thinking, problem-solving, and helping others, while business fosters her love of creating, managing, strategizing, and communicating. Aside from Women in Thailand, Mye has organized a Business Camp and Competition at her school where students from various provinces had the opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship. Mye did this following the belief that entrepreneurship and ventures lead to the development of our economy, and also provided an opportunity for the students to see if this is something they’d want to pursue. Mye’s work is not limited to only Thailand, as she has also traveled around South East Asia to volunteer at local hospitals with underprivileged patients. Mye’s other work includes being an avid swimmer and poet, vice president at the UNICEF club at her school, being part of the Service Council, Internships at Non-profits for women’s rights, and hospital research centers, member of her school’s International Honor Society, and more.
